  • Conducted over 250 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for a variety of client based, including local/national lenders, local/national investors, corporate based real estate groups and attorneys. Subject property assessments have ranged from undeveloped land to detailed assembly development projects which have addressed issues consisting of asbestos, underground storage tanks (USTs), lead based paint, radon testing, dry cleaner assessment (chlorinated solvents), and other related environmental concerns.
  • Directed multi-state 200 location asbestos-containing material (ACM) surveys for national fast food client. Subsequently planned and contracted ACM removal at required locations.
  • Performed more than 40 Level II subsurface Assessments consisting of 3 to 10 subsurface borings and continuous soil sampling and screening. These assessments have been conducted on commercial and industrial facilities relative to gasoline, diesel, chlorinated solvents, metals, and other regulated contaminants.
  • Management and planning involving 200 acre local landfill involving soil and landfill gas assessment, with extensive collaboration toward possible design impacts and compliance with Subchapter T requirements. Work plan development and strategic implementation for site specific uses within the full scale property.
  • Conducted remedial excavation oversight and documentation for the removal and disposal of various contaminant impacted soils ranging in volume from 25 to as much as 500 cubic yards.
  • Conducted a minimum of 20 subsurface assessment projects relative to dry cleaning facilities within multi-tenant retail complexes. Conducted Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) application associated with applicable projects in order to facilitate real estate closings relative to chlorinated solvent impacts.
  • Experience with legal counsel and real estate transactions relative to “Innocent Land Owner” defense and state managed programs such as the Innocent Owner/Operator Program (IOP), a TCEQ based program. These issues have been especially effective in relation to off-site impacts and associated liability to client owned property, and providing support for real estate transactions.
  • Management of human resources for logistic planning of large scale real estate portfolio due diligence. Assisted in the management of 30-40 property portfolio projects involving a large range of environmental issues for corporate based clients and developers.
